Ingredients
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) softened butter
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) peanut butter
- 250 ml (1 cup) brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) vanilla
- 250 ml (1 cup) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) cocoa
- 250 ml (1 cup) quick-cook oats
- 10 ml (2 tsp.) baking powder
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) salt
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) ground cinnamon
- 250 ml (1 cup) roasted walnuts
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) raisins
- 375 ml (1 ½ cup) ripe bananas, mashed
- 75 ml (1/4 cup) Joyya Ultrafiltered Chocolate Dairy Beverage
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and line a rectangular baking dish.
- Cream the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla and stir until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour with the cocoa, oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nuts, and raisins. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the mashed bananas and Joyya Ultrafiltered Chocolate Dairy Beverage.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
- Bake in the oven until toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean, approximately 50 minutes.
- Let cool 10 minutes before unmoulding.
- Cut into equal-sized bars.
- If desired, garnish with peanut butter and banana slices.
